WalkOff Talk started in November 2013 with co-hosts Ben Nielsen and Audra Marvin. Ben is a lifelong fan who brings an understanding of stats and analysis to the table. Audra is a brand-new fan who brings a rookie’s enthusiasm along with a spongelike desire to learn. Together they discuss everything related to the Royals they can possibly think of, along with a hodgepodge of fun miscellany.
Audra Marvin – Audra has been vaguely aware of the existence of baseball her entire life, but it was not until the summer of 2012, when she needed to get over a broken heart, that she turned her full time and attention to becoming a fan of the Kansas City Royals. Since then she’s been totally devoted to the team, despite the immediate and prolonged frustration that accompanies Royals fandom. When she isn’t thinking or talking about baseball, Audra can be found with a book, or on her porch, or both.
