This week we recap the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals. Hunter and Matt made appearances in person at games one and two. We talk about Madison Bumgarner, of course. We talk about the best moments and what they meant to us.
We also talk about a few moves and signings, as well as a few non-moves. Billy Butler was granted free agency and we talk about what his future might hold.
David and Clint preview the upcoming World Series with the San Francisco Giants with a large focus on Game 1 that features superb Giants lefty Madison Bumgarner. Also featured on this podcast Dayton Moore to Atlanta is discussed, Ned Yost comfort level, the play of Eric Hosmer as well as predictions for series MVP.

The World Series is here and our team is in it! We give a full World Series preview, focusing especially on the matchups between James Shields and Madison Bumgarner and Jeremy Guthrie against Ryan Vogelsong. The series is evenly matched and could easily reach seven games. The Royals have a weapons off the bench, but the Giants have a solid starting 9. The Royals have the edge in pitching despite a solid Giants bullpen. It’s gonna be tight.
We don’t just focus on the World Series because Andrew Friedman was poached from Tampa Bay by the Dodgers. It’s a big move for the Dodgers that could help them get out from under some of their heavier contractual obligations. It won’t happen this year, but it is a step in the right direction.
