Kansas City Baseball Vault – Goodbye Billy, Goodbye Crow

kcBaseballVaultBanner-1024x409

We knew this day would come but it was time to say goodbye to Billy Butler for his years of service in the Royals organization. We discussed what his move to Oakland may mean for him and what the A’s saw in him that the Royals weren’t going to pay up for.

We also covered the Yasmani Tomas signing by Arizona and what the Royals may have missed out on. Along with that, we caught up on some of the big transactions of the offseason so far, including the trade of Aaron Crow to Miami – a good move in our opinion.

Finally, we talked about tickets, awards, and odds and ends.

The Kansas City Baseball Vault is brought to you every week via the Royals Podcast Network with the support of Kelly’s Westport Inn, the best bar to stop by to watch a ball game.

Used to blog about the Royals, now just podcast about them. I used to be a Bob Hamelin fan, too. Oops.
